Diggin’ in the Carts is a documentary series and radio show about the Japanese video game music industry created by Red Bull Music Academy. The series follows the history of Japanese video game music through interviews with some of the industries icons such as Yuzo Koshiro (Dragon Slayer and Ys series), Hirokazu Tanaka (Super Mario Land and Tetris), and Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy series and Super Smash Bros. Brawl).
Working with Japanese local production company Chikkimedia, I helped production manage the 16 day shoot in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and other Japanese cities.
